The confraternity consists of people wearing the scapular
The duties of the one receiving the scapular are:
- Standing voluntarily under the banner of the glorious Saint Michael the Archangel, by living and zealously fulfilling the obligations arising from the reception of the sacrament of baptism;
- Taking active part in the battle of Saint Michael the Archangel, which he carries on with evil spirits and their supporters, by fulfilling the obligations arising from the reception of the sacrament of confirmation;
- Eagerly participating in the sacrament of reconciliation and engaging in building up of the Kingdom of God in human souls;
- Every day, saying the prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel, written by Papa Leone the XIII.

The Scapular wearer, celebrating the spiritual connection with the Michaelite Congregations, in a special way celebrates festivities and holidays:
- Blessed Bronisław Markiewicz (Jan. 30)
- Apparition of the Archangel Michael on Mount Gargano (May 8)
- Saints Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Rafael (Sep. 29)
- Guardian Angels (Oct. 2)
