Blessed Easter

“Do not be afraid,” the angel said to the women. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” (Matthew 28:5-6a)

Dear Devotees of St. Michael the Archangel,

This Easter, we send you heartfelt wishes for a life marked by unceasing triumph:
A triumph of goodness over evil,
Of hope over doubt,
Of radiant light over the shadows—shining forth from the Risen Christ.

May the joy of His Resurrection renew your faith in the promise of a new and glorious life—one where Jesus awaits us with arms wide open and a love more tender and merciful than any we have ever known.

Accompanied by our prayers and priestly blessing.

Where does prayer come from? Whether prayer is expressed in words or gestures, it is the whole man who prays. But in naming the source of prayer, Scripture speaks sometimes of the soul or the spirit, but most often of the heart (more than a thousand times). According to Scripture, it is the heart that prays. If our heart is far from God, the words of prayer are in vain.
